I am studying for my CDL permit and discussed with my gf that I plan on doing this as a career. At first she was all for it and then did research and was distraught because we are basically inseparable. So then she decided to start studying too and wants to also become a trucker. We both have done research and know what we are getting into. We were thinking of doing teams together.

I want to go the company route, I don’t qualify for WIOA. I’m willing to sell my soul in exchange for some experience and not having to pay for school. I’m thinking of Schnieder.
I have a perfect driving record, no accidents, tickets etc. However my gf was arrested and charged for a dui last fall. This was her first offense. She hasn’t had her court date yet or been convicted. Also there’s a possibility it could be dropped down to a reckless. Is there any way she would be able to find a company that would hire her? Or if she gets her CDL from a private company, is it still a lost cause?
TLDR: My gf and I want to get our cd’s. My record is clean. She was charged with a dui last fall and not convicted yet, still waiting on her court date. Is there anything she can do to get her cdl or get hired?
