Hi, everyone! A quick question: I have decided to get my CDL and have learned a lot of great information on this sub! I was wondering what you guys would recommend when it came to schooling. Roadmaster reaches out to me on a pretty regular basis after I filled out a form asking for more info but I read a post here by someone who felt unprepared after such a short education. I do have a community college in the area that offers a course but it’s ~2 months long. Roadmaster will allow you to pay your tuition back over time while the college requires you to find your own financing. I feel like Roadmaster is more apt to assist you with job placement since you owe them money but again, I’ve read some negative things about that situation, being indebted to them, also. I just finished paying off a bachelors I will never use so I am reluctant to get into a large amount of debt again.
Can anyone give me some advice or let me know your experience? I’m in Florida, if that matters at all. Thank you!
