(Which, 20 pounds may or may not matter, but here’s the scoop!)
There’s a Cat scale lady doing something to the scale at the truck stop where I’m parked. She had all those metal things that separate the different weighing areas pulled out when I walked to get lunch; when I came back they were all put back and she was messing around w something else. So she’s a legit scale worker, with a Cat logo on her clothes.
So I asked her if she was calibrating it. She wasn’t, she’s doing something else. So we were chit chatting about me using it to weigh me, and she said it’ll add 20 pounds- well wait. She called it “rounding up”, and said if I was even 1 pound heavier than I think, it’ll turn that 1 pound into 20.
Damn, that’s quite the round up. So..
I thought that was interesting! And, did you know those metal things come up and there’s an interesting trench full of interesting things in each trench, under each metal thing?
Yup! Super productive second hour of my reset!
