Can’t find a trucking job

I’ve had my cdl for almost two months and I’ve yet to find a gig, after countless applications and interviews I’m almost at the point of giving up. I am in the central Virginia area btw. Is there a specific area in Virginia where the opportunities are better? Id prefer local foodservice or even class b work at this point. Everyone is saying I need a specific amount of tractor trailer experience but nobody will give me a chance. On top of that, I am a ex con. These companies are missing out on quality employees with these requirements.
