Can I apply to a regional driving job in a state that I don’t currently live in?

I want to move to another state (back to Florida). I obtained a CDL in a Northeast state last year, where I currently reside. I have barely used it, so I need to apply to a mega or food delivery for the experience. Am I limited to applying to jobs in my current area or can I apply to a job with a mega in Florida and train for that route and then once I get settled in and get a new residence then switch my license? Or will I only be able to work in the region I live?

Basically, is OTR the only way I can immediately relocate to any state?
