Buying a classic old semi ?

Okay this may sound dumb to some or maybe all idk but I’ve always loved the look of old rigs and I recently came across a 96’ Peterbilt 379 long nose sleeper with a cat 3406e apparently rebuilt by previous owner(no paperwork but engine pics look like clean) and 18 speed trans that’s been rebuilt aswell. Rough but it runs and drives good, fella is asking around 22k for it and I think I could talk em down. I feel like it’s a great deal considering what these go for. my question is would it be insane to own it and drive it? would insurance be absurd? and if I got a all licensing done ofc could I use it to make good money hauling stuff at some points ? btw I’m 24 I restore older cars so I don’t mind having to do dirty work on it to clean ‘er up. Again sorry if this dumb I just curious or if I’m in over my head.
