My company is giving me a brand new truck today & I can’t be more ecstatic.
As a quick synopsis they gave me a 2019 International LT with 400k on it, Cummins x15 should be solid right? WRONG. This truck has been a piece of shit with a mind of its own.
Been broken down 3 times with it so far. Last time was a week in Phoenix. Oil pan gasket, water pump, coolant reservoir, all coolant hoses, power steering gear box.
Currently wrong with it: The air compressor is finicky. SOMETIMES it’s perfectly fine & does it’s job, other times it makes decisions on whether or not it’s gonna pump air at a solid rate.
Idle is fucked (temperature wise)
Smart pass fucked
Bunk heater fucked
No storage
NO POWER- at 79k gross I shit you not Usain Bolt could out run me up the mountain, hazards on EVERYONE passing me at 45mph or more.
Man’s called me earlier & said after I drop this to go to the terminal, hit up the shop, they’re set to release the keys to me, gave me the truck number so I asked if it was a Cascadia or an LT, man’s types in the number & proceeds to tell me its not even fully in the system yet because it’s brand spanken new 😭😭
I CANNOT describe how over joyed & ecstatic I am to be getting into a brand new truck 😭😭
If also like to thank EVERY SINGLE one of you on this sub because YOU taught me 50% of EVERYTHING I know.
Like many others I popped up in this sub probably about a year ago now, no permit, cdl or any REAL prior knowledge.
I made it yall. I’m a real boy now 😭
Currently backed into a dock getting unloaded in SLC & omw 2 miles to the terminal to get my new truck.
