Hey all, I’m 37 and been a service plumber for 7 years in California now living in North Dakota and really kinda done with shit every day and having to move water heaters up and down precarious ass stairs is having its toll on me as I’m not the biggest guy out there. So looking at the fact that I will have to start my apprenticeship all over as hours from a service company isn’t reciprocated from state to state I am at the point of kinda starting a new career. The position I’m looking with Schneider is a regional just 7 states and they said home time every 2 weeks which my wife is fine with (go figure ????) my son is not to stoked but he is older now so I figure he can ride along a couple times a year when his school is out that excited him. I been watching videos on YouTube this past week but I’m a little nervous about the 5 to 6 weeks program and if there’s gonna be any bait and switch. I know all companies are pretty much just looking for bodies to fill seats so I’m expecting that. I guess my question is what should I expect what should I bring and after the 6 weeks do I get at least a weekend of home time?
