On my truck I have an APU and inverter(Eaton Sine Wave)

where I charge it inside truck stops every day, is there an easy way to connect it to the preexisting system so that it uses energy from that battery instead of the truck’s—say, for the HVAC system, mainly? Or do I have to deal with using them independently from one another?
