Hey guys
So I just moved out to Nevada and am starting a western 11 route. I’ve been living in and running only eastern Canada and not much US ever since I got my license. Out here doing western 11, I know there are a lot of mountains and possible chaining required during the winter. I’d rather just park if chains are required and wait it out…
Was wondering if anyone had tips to share on keeping up with the road conditions to plan ahead. Do you just check DOT websites or twitters for your route? That’s what I did back in Canada but you guys seem to have way more apps and options down here. Just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can to go in prepared.
