So Monday evening I was using the controls on my 4 car rollback and everything started out fine. I used the winch lines and unhooked them and lowered my tow bar. But when I went to roll the bed back I heard a somewhat loud clunk and everything stopped working. Since then I have taken the PTO down and inspected all the gears and they look fine, even the drive gear from the transmission.The only thing I see is slight wear on the air switch gears as seen above, but I really don’t think that will be the problem. I put a gauge on the inlet air to where it goes to the switch and it reads 110 lbs psi. I have also tested the air switch with 60 lbs psi and it switched over near perfectly. I have taken the pump off and the gears in there all seem to be in good condition and turn smoothly. I’m really at a loss and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
