Anyone deliver light equipment for rental companies?

Currently driving for a ready mix company delivering cement, making about 4k/month but laid off in winter. Pretty old trucks but fun to drive and good co workers.

Have an opportunity to drive for a light equipment rental company doing delivery/pickup. Only 1 other driver and so lots of work to stay busy and driving a nice kenworth tilt deck/winch. About 3800/month but year round.

Not sure if I should make the switch. I think doing equipment delivery would be easier but would like some opinions.
