Any update to FMCSA hair testing decision?

The FMCSA is trying to get hair test results sent to clearing house. I can pass a urine test all day long, but I’ve been putting off getting into trucking because I don’t want to fail a hair test just because I smoked a joint months ago. I no longer smoke. I made the personal decision to quit for good, and that decision has nothing to do with getting a job.

Does anyone know when they’re supposed to make their decision?

It seems like they want to have their cake and eat it too. “We can’t get enough truckers!!… let’s make way more people ineligible to become truckers!!”
