Any tips for hauling drywall?

Was supposed to be running a regional dry van but the recruiter lied (shocker, I know) and now my options are to drive in mountains dry van (can’t do it) go home on my own dime (can’t afford it) or try a regional flatbed fleet they have an opening on that’s near my home.

I’ve never done flatbed before but I’ll give it an honest shot if only so I can get home. Any tips or anything I really need to pay attention to beforehand? I know strapping and tarping will be required and that it’ll suck a bit…
