There’s 2 schools in my area. My employer is paying for me to get my Class A. That being said. I still have to report to work full time.
The first school is very clean with newish trucks. They’re ran very professionally. Everything is by the books. Reviews online are 50/50. But sadly they’re not allowing me to leave every day an hour early to go to work. I even told them I’ll come in an extra day or week to make up this lost time. They basically said tough 💩
The other school has a pretty bad yard. Mostly dirt with huge pot holes filled with water. All their trucks look older than me. The yard itself looks like a tow yard more than a school. Lots of random trash, looks like storage for other companies and just a dump feel. But they’re 100% legit and good reviews online. Best part is they’ll work with me and accommodate me. Even going as far as saying I can basically come in whenever I want as long as I get the proper hours in.
So. Pick the school that’s all pretty, clean and by the books. Or the one that’s a dump with old equipment and a terrible yard. but will work with me to allow me to go early and (based off reviews good staff). What should I be looking at when picking a school?
Edit: both are roughly the same distance from my house. Both the same hours of operation.
