Hey guys,
Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t expect trucking to be all sunshine and rainbows and all that I just don’t know what to do.

I started working my first company this week and the general consensus is that this company does *not* care about time regulations. There’s a huge learning curve to actually handle the freight and I could probably go on for ages but I don’t wanna bore ya. My second day into training I got a text from a company I applied to wayy back but got rejected due to lack of experience. It was the first place to take me that stayed local and I reached a point where I just jumped a the first opportunity.

Based on what I’ve got at home right now(which I don’t want to get into), I’d rather be at home which is why I didn’t elect to join swift and go OTR . Do you guys think I should stick with it or find myself an out? If you think I should stick with it how long do you think I should wait before taking a look?

I’d also appreciate some encouraging words if any of y’all could spare some. Thank you all for your time.
