I didn’t think I’d be asking, but here we are. I got my CDL-A permit and hazmat endorsement on my own before CDL school and before ELDT went into effect. My CDL school still submitted an ELDT completion record for me (but not one for hazmat, oddly enough). Now, a year later, I’m looking into getting a passenger endorsement. Is there a separate ELDT course for a Class B license or just the additional one for the passenger endorsement?
Also, I took my test in a manual truck. If I follow through with this and test again in a bus, I’m 99% sure it’ll be automatic. I *should not* get an automatic restriction, right? Since I already passed a test in a manual vehicle, my understanding is that I’d just get that weird “No Class A passenger vehicle” restriction.
Thank you.
