Advice on second chance companies

Is western express going to be the only option for my wife & I? We are wanting to do team driving. I have an honorable discharge from the military; however, my wife received an “under honorable conditions” for drug abuse. She never failed a drug test, in fact…it was for a drug that can’t even be tested for. Long story short….she tried shrooms….had a bad trip (this was last year), and ended up turning herself in, bc she needed medical attention at the time (SI thoughts). She hasn’t touched it since. I know….it was a dumb choice, that is now on her record forever. She was in for 4 years….honorable service up until that one incident. Her leadership tried to go up to bat for her as much as they could. That being said….her discharge was “under honorable conditions”. And her SPD code says “drug abuse”. She did receive mandatory drug treatment before discharge, but I’m sure that doesn’t help anything. Our question is….are there any companies we should look into? We know there’s always western express, but everyone I’ve talked to always has the worst things to say about them. At the end of the day, we’re willing to suck it up for however long it takes at a second chance company like western. We just want to know our options, and if anyones gone through anything similar. I know not disclosing her military service wouldn’t be a good idea, considering the background checks. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
