Advice for the CDL test and process?

Im an arborist, been looking to get my CDL, to drive the bucket trucks. My issue is no one can really tell me what I need to study or what the test exactly entails. I’m good at driving and backing up trailers, so the hard part would be the written exam I think? Also isn’t there a part where you have to walk around the truck and talk about the different parts? Any advice on a good study guide or videos? What exactly did you do and what did the test involve? It would be for a Class A with air brakes.
