A little introduction

Hello all. I’ve been lurking here for about half a year and now I feel comfortable enough to say a few things about myself.

I’ve been working as a labourer in a municipality on the island of Montreal for about 15 years. In the past year I was made aware that a driver position would be opening up due to retirement. I wasted no time getting my class 3 (straight body) license. I’ve now officially been in the position for about 4 months and I’ve done a half dozen different jobs with different trucks, from snow removal to asphalt to watering flowers/trees.

I’m the happiest I’ve been at work since I was hired 15 years ago. I feel so lucky that I genuinely enjoy going to work everyday. I know my friends and family are happy for me but I wanted to express my feelings to a community that understands where I’m coming from.
