7mo. and I want to quit trucking

Had my first incident today. I was in a 40ft and the back of the trailer caught a pole. I’m fairly new, only been driving alone for about 7months. My company sent my thru school and then they trained me two months. I always felt good, cautious and haven’t had anything happen or even came close until today.

I’m honestly really bummed. A small crowd formed and people were taking pictures and stuff. Beer drivers kinda laughed. I already feel like I need to prove myself because I’m a woman but right now I just feel like quitting.
