Just got this beautiful, pure sine wave inverter from Amazon. Couple issues, it didnt come with a fuse and I get differing numbers but most often I read I need a 300 amp fuse. I’ve found a cube fuse on amazon that goes directly on the battery terminal.
Will 300 w suffice?
I intend to play Xbox series X which I read draws max about 160 w. Id also like a small fridge which may draw 70 w. My TV is on a small 300 w cigarette adapter inverter. I read thaty 3000 w inverter peaks at 6000 w, that confuses me.
Also, the cables included with the inverter were AWG 6, amd reading online it seems I need much thicker wires of 00 size. The connecters on the wires are too small for the battery terminal so I’ll go to home depot to get the wire and bigger connecters. I plan on going from behind my seat to the batteries and have the length about 6 ‘ for each wire
Strange that they would include such undersized wires am I right?
