22 year old college dropout living with parents, delivering pizzas!!!

Been getting the urge to go for my cdl for the longest. My parents always try to talk me out of this idea, and absolutely love 2 throw dirt on my goals because they are assholes. I went to community college for a year and dropped out to sell drugs until I ended up getting caught. I guess my question is how easy is it really for newly licensed cdl drivers to pick up serious on the road gigs. People make it seem like you can secure a 100k a year gig tomorrow, and I’ve seen it done before. Been following this reddit for a while now and figured I’d throw a post up. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!
