2nd day in replacement 2020 Freightliner Cascadia truck…and I’m noticing 2 issues that I would like some help in solving. Please.

1st issue: cruise control. Its on the right side of steering wheel. No on/off button. I clicked “set” at desired speed and I see is ” — ” but nothing happens. I did the same for the “res” button and nothing happens. When I say nothing happens, I mean cruise control does not turn on. My right leg is friggin sore lol. I will say tho that I managed to turn cruise control randomly after the truck had shut off. One more thing, when I turn the truck on, I get a “adaptive cruise control is not available” message. Anyways, am I doing it right? Or what am I doing wrong? Also btw I did check the manual and it just indicates to press “set” when at desired speed.

2nd issue: random flashing/flickering of brake lights. I noticed it this morning when I came back from showering. I thought somebody broke into my truck. But I stayed outside for awhile and noticed the flashing/flickering of the brake lights. Also noticed it when I stopped to shutdown today. Has anyone had this issue or know how I can turn it off?
